What we have done so far
Chess4Girls empowers young minds and fosters independent thinking through the game of chess. Every number below comes from a real workshop: a sign-in sheet, a partner roster, a room full of girls learning the moves.

How we count
- Girls reached counts each girl once, even when she comes back for another workshop. That is the number we hold ourselves to.
- Students taught is everyone in the room, because our partner sessions in India are open to boys as well.
- Workshops are events where we recorded attendance. Meetups and tournaments without a sign-in sheet are not counted.
- Numbers are entered after each event by Iniya Mathivanan and the Chess4Girls team, and the site updates automatically.
